Why subscribe?

Hey, I’m Sherveen — I’m a startup founder, AI product leader, early stage investor, politico, and chronically online human.

Beyond that, I’m a nuance-noticer. I’m the type of guy they call an explainer-in-chief. Whether we’re talking about the dynamics of venture capital, a policy debate between leftists, liberals, and the tech right, or the value of a college education, I want to know about the details behind the details.

Because I hate that everyone just lies nowadays. Lies with stats, lies about the foundations of their opinion, lies intentionally and sometimes unintentionally.

I want us to notice the nuance more often, and to remember the value of being able and willing to dig into the weeds.

Beyond that, bad sleep habits, and an addiction to tech Twitter/X, I’m deeply embedded in venture capital and the early stage founder community.
